A double. Dad shot son retrieved. Scott Hottell and my son Mason. A great evening hunt after school
Jarrett gets 4 ducks in 3 shots … all out of the ozone. Dad goes 1 for 3. I’ll be hearing about that at the truck-stop for a while. Decoyed ducks on a spring-fed ditch on a brutally cold day. We sat in white in the snow-bank and covered Moose with a sheet. Got in and out in an hour.

One of the best hunts in my life: an early season goose hunt. There are 19 birds in the truck with 4 hunters. Only one did not limit out. My son, Mason went along as retriever.
